This position is responsible for providing a variety of specialized duties by preparing and maintaining aseptic supplies, through the ordering and stocking function.

This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares the ca! th lab procedures rooms by ensuring that adequate stock is ava! ilable.
• Orders and maintains supplies.
• Processes film and maintains lab book of patient films.
• Assists cath lab staff in the operation of the lab.
• Assists in cleaning, assembling and sterilizing equipment.
• Transports and/or escorts stabilized patients to nursing units.
• Serves as back-up for Central Service Aide.
• Assembles custom biopsy sheath kits.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Demonstrated potential ability to perform the essential functions as outlined above.
• Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills.

Qualifications:
Required

• Two years of hospital experience.

All of the following license(s)

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider card through American Heart Association or obtain within one month of hire.
