The Surgical Tech is a valuable member of the surgical team providing assistance to surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses. The surgical te! am works to ensure that the patients’ operative procedure goes smoothly and quickly, and that the patient has a safe and positive surgical experience. The Surgical Tech provides expertise in the handling of instruments, supplies and equipment during the intra-operative period. The advanced Tech uses their experience to provide expertise in a specialized field of surgery.

This position is located at Park City Medical Center in Park City, Utah, which is located approximately 32 miles from downtown Salt Lake City and 42 miles from Provo, Utah.

Full time, 40 hours per week - Days 7:00 a.m. to 3:30p.m., M - F. Call required.

Must be within 30 minutes of Park City Medical Center for call.

Starting salary: $15.61/hour - benefits eligible.

Minimum Requirements

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start d! ate or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional informa! tion regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

Two or more years Surgical Technologist experience

Completion of four items from the following list:
National Surgical Technologist Certification

Competency in a specialty area (each specialty area counts as one item)

Completion of a special project annually

Physical Requirements

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a formal operating room technology training program

National Certification as Surgical Technologist
