As part of the Clinical Content Team, the Clinical Content Coordinator performs functions critical to maintaining the accuracy and quality of the information in our digital library. We work in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for scheduling and evaluating over 800 medical reviews a month, training medical reviewers, monitoring medical reviewer performance, and identifying gaps in subjects covered in the library. In addition, the Coordinator participates in the design of new content for new products, works closely with Product Managers in product development, and responds to customer feedback and inquiries.

Requirements for the position

We are looking for someone with Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) in a health c! are related field, from a four (4) year college or university ! and three (3) or more years related experience and/or training.

The person who fills this position must be highly motivated, be able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage competing demands. The job requires management of multiple details related to scheduling and monitoring performance of an average of 20 individual reviewers.

All medical reviews are done through our online editorial tool. The person in this position must be comfortable working with computer software programs, be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and be willing to learn any other software or system necessary for fulfilling the requirements of this position.

This position requires interactions with other staff, vendors and individual health care professionals who do medical review. Good interpersonal skills are essential. It is crucial that this person identify and resolve problems in a timely manner by gathering and analyzing information, developing altern! ative solutions.

The Clinical Content Team members work closely with each other. This position requires someone to be open to others' views, give and welcome feedback, contributes to building a positive team spirit, and supports everyone's efforts to succeed.

Must demonstrate a command of the English language (read, write and speak). Familiarity with

Spanish desirable.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,

and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to

interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal

with several abstract and concrete variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Licensed as a Registe! red Nurse (RN); certification in a specialty area highly desired but no! t required. If

Licensed health care professional in this or another field, maintenance of professional license required.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to speak, write and read Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to juggle tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Ability to work with a virtual team required.
  • Ability to supervise the work of contractors required.
