The Registered Nurse (RN) is a valuable team member who provides extraordinary care in making patients feel comfortable and at ease while in the clinic setting. The RN-Clinic utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. Responsibilities would include rooming patients, taking vitals, running lab tests, triaging patients, and making and answering phone calls to respond to patient inquiries. The clinic RN impacts patients’ lives every day and truly makes a difference to those they serve.

This position is located in the Intermountain Heart Institute Cardiothoracic Surgery at Intermountain Medical Center.

Minimum Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in state of practice

One year of RN work experience

Physical Requirements

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, and Walking

Preferred Qualifications

One year or more Registered Nurse (RN) work experience in a Cardiovascular setting

Three or more years of RN work experience
