Location: Cedar City Utah!

Description: Intermountain Healthcare is currently seeking to employ OR Tech right now, this vacancy will be placed in Utah. The Surgical Tech is a valuable member of the surgical team providing assistance to surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses. The surgical team works to ensure that the patient's operative procedure goes smoothly and quickly, and that the patient has a safe and positive surgical experience. The Surgical Tech provides expertise in the handling of instruments, supplies and equipment during the intra-operative period. Advancement opportunities are available for those interested in pursuing a specialized field of surgery.

Entry Rate: $14.22 (depends on experience)
Benefits Elig! ible: Yes
Shift Details: Four 10 hour shifts pe! r week, Monday-Friday, with alternating days off. On-call requirement one weeknight/week and one weekend every 4-6 weeks.
Department: Operating Room
Additional Details: 30 minute response time is required when on-call.

Minimum Requirements

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

Physical Requirements

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician training course or experience working as an operating room technology training program

National certification as a Surgical Technician

One year of hospital Ope! rating Room Surgical Technician experience
