Davis Hospital and Medical Center opened in 1976 and has been providing high-quality healthcare in Layt! on for over 30 years now. Since opening, Davis has grown, right along with the community. As the hospital added services and upgraded its facilities, it kept pace with the increasing healthcare needs of this growing area. Currently, the hospital is constructing a three-story tower addition. The $36.2 million expansion includes 67 additional beds, a brand new 14-bed Intensive Care Unit, a Women's Surgical Services Unit, and expanded pediatric, medical/surgical and other inpatient services. The expansion will include a conversion of semi-private hospital rooms to private suites. Completion of the beautiful tower addition is scheduled for spring of 2009.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients in the behavioral health unit.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of a patient.

Possess the ability to identify each requirement relative to his or her age specific needs and to prove the care needed as described in the unit's policies and procedures skills check lists.

May be required to assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements

Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Requires current C.N.A.

Must have BLS (CPR) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.

Preferences
Mental health C.N.A. experience preferred
