"HELPING ALL PEOPLE LIVE HEALTHY LIVES" BD Medical is a creator, manufacturer and distributor of catheters, surgical aids and antimicrobial products using state-of-the-art, fully-automated manufac! turing processes along with LEAN work systems. We have an opening for: Occupational Health Nurse (Reference #OCC0000M) Responsible for the design, development, administration, training and evaluation of Occupational Health Services and Wellness programs for BD, Sandy. Communicate with Human Resources and Plant Management concerning health-related situations and develop intervention programs to support strategic objectives. Serve as a liaison between associates, management and outside healthcare providers to coordinate regulated medical surveillance, FMLA and other programs to monitor and improve the overall health of the associates.
Liaison with Corporate Healthy Lives coordinators. Manages the Health Services Department. Responsible for programs to improve health and wellbeing of employees including assessment, nursing care, and referral for occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries.
