The Enviromental Services Associate 1 (EVS) cleans all areas of the Hospital by perofmring the following duties.
Performs all assigned task! s in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Housekeeping Department.
Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Ability to ap! ply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninv! olved written or oral instructions.
