Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Skilled - (COTA - Skill! ed)

Well respected skilled nursing facility (SNF) is seeking a COTA who is highly motivated and energetic to join the team. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

"Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a COTA and/or registered as a COTA per state requirements.
The role of the certified occupational therapist assistants (COTA) is to assist patients with rehabilitation and exercise activities that the occupational therapist has outlined in the treatment plan. In occupational therapy, a COTA aids patients in a number of various activities, such as:
Wheelchair activities
Energy conservation
Joint protection techniques
Occupational th! erapist assistants also provide motivation and encouragement f! or patients, and can work in a variety of settings that includes:
Acute
Home health
Outpatient
Skilled Nursing
Required Qualifications
Length of assignment: 13 weeks assignment.
Setting: 100% SNF
Modality: OT- Must have at least 1 yr experience in SNF
New Grads / Assistants: No Assistants/ No New Grads.
Preferred Qualifications
Length of assignment: 13 weeks assignment.
