We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our Nursing Administration team at Utah Valley Specialty Hospital, a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). About our Company: The Specialty Hospital provides advanced long-term acute care, including high observation/critical care, for patients who require time to heal from catastrophic injury or illness.
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Operations, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the patient unit and for compliance with policies, procedures and standards of care.

Job duties include:
•Responsible for day to day Nursing Operations to include supervision of staff, tasks and workflow.
•Addresses staff, physician, patient and family concerns and reports to Director of Nursing Operations.
•Coordinates and supervises appropriate levels of staff including: staff, interns, and students
•Addresses personnel issues by obtaining facts and providing appropriate feedback.
! •Completes employee competencies and evaluations based on job! expectations and employee performance.
•Participates in staff orientation and provides hands on training and direction.
•Attends daily meetings, leads Core Team and communicates information appropriately. Attends Case Conferences
•Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
•Communicates collaboratively with the Director of Nursing Operations to resolve issues and develop systems to facilitate the overall functions of the Nursing unit.

Qualifications summary

Required Skills:
•Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital setting required
•Current RN license and CPR certification required
•BSN preferred
•Long Term Acute Care experience preferred
•Management experience preferred
