Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D, 12 N Pay Rate: $30.71 *
As a v! alued member of the Labor and Delivery (LD) nursing team, you will care for patients with a wide range of conditions including complex cases. This LD units uses state of the art technology, allowing the healthcare professionals to provide the best care to their patients. The right candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work in a professionally challenging, positive and innovative work environment at this highly regarded teaching facility.
Births Per Month: 260, including high risk patients
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
