Location: Salt Lake City Utah

Description: Onward Healthcare is at the momment seeking for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Long Term Care / SNF Facility right now, this position will be placed in Utah. Onward Healthcare is looking for a Certified Occupational Therap! y Assistant (COTA) to fill an immediate need in an in-state long term care / skilled nursing facility. The COTAs primary responsibilities will be to assist the onsite OT evaluate resident's conditions, develop treatment plans, and help restore day-to-day functionality.
This particular COTA position at this skilled nursing facility (SNF) will be contract based and provide competitive base bay and medical benefits. Relocation may also be provided for non-local candidates.

Occupational Therapist Assistant will be responsible for:
Assist patients under direction of an Occupational Therapist to maximize their potential in areas of self-care, meal time skills, and manipulation skills
Carry out observations and assist OT in administering formal evaluations
Maintain written reports and records on interventions
Construct adaptive equipment, self-help devices as recommended by OT

Position Requirements for a COTA Job:
Active in-state COTA license
LTC/SNF experience preferred but not required
