Job Summary

Pointe Meadows Health And Rehabilitation , Utah's newest Skilled Nursing Facility, is currently hiring full-time, part-time & PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). As a CNA here at Pointe Meadows Health And Rehabilitation you will provide each of your resident's with routine daily nursing care and services to ensure their well being. We work together as a team to create a home away from home for each of our residents as well as our staff!. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide compassionate resident care as necessary or as directed by the licensed nurse
• Assists residents in activities of daily living (ADLs) and documents in medical record
• Answers resident call lights promptly
• Keeps resident rooms neat and safe
• Checks residents routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met
• Maintains the confidentiality of all resident information
• Assists with patient transfers as necessary
• Creates and maintains a calm atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis throughout the unit and shift * Reports complaints or grievances made by residents to supervisor
• Ensures the resident rooms are ready to receiving incoming residents (i.e., bed made, name tags up, etc.)
• Communicates professionally with residents, families and staff

Qualifications and Skills

• Speaks, reads and writes English for communicating with residents and documenting medical records
• Must possess current CNA certification, or be willing to quickly obtain certification
• High School graduate or equivalent (will consider HS seniors enrolled is health sciences program)
• Desire to serve and improve people's lives
• Comprehensive on-the-job training provided
