Nurse Practitioner - (NP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Varied Shift
Nurse Practitioner (NP) needed to cover an on-site out-patient hospital for 6 days in October. The NP should be capable of handling standard FPNP work. The daily schedule varies. On Monday, the NP will be needed from 8:00am to 5:00pm. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the NP will be needed from 11:00am to 7:00pm. On Thursday, the NP will be needed from 8:00am to 5:00pm. On Friday, the NP will be needed from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Saturday and Sunday will be scheduled! off and back on Monday for the final day of the assignment fr! om 8:00am to 5:00pm.
A nurse practitioner (NP)(locum tenens) is a registered nurse (RN) with specialization in a specific area of medicine, such as family medicine or pediatrics. A nurse practitioner has completed a master’s program in nursing and has earned board certification in a chosen specialty. An NP is able to provide a wide range of medical services, from conducting physical examinations and taking down patient history to performing more complex procedures such as bone marrow biopsies.
Required Qualifications
BE/BC, active Utah license. BCLS, ACLS
