Location: Provo Utah

Description: Intermountain Home Care is currently seeking to employ RN - Medical Oncology right now, this career will be placed in Utah. The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The RN pr! ovides the best clinical practice in an environment of caring and healing. The RN has the opportunity to care for a broad spectrum of diagnoses which enables them to sharpen their assessment skills, gain a vast knowledge base, and improve critical thinking skills while caring for patients. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards. The RN impacts patients' lives every day and truly makes a difference to those they care for.

Shift Details: On-call, variable 12 hour shift position; no guaranteed hours or benefits; must be available for at least 24 hours per week as needed. Rotating holidays and weekends required.

Minimum Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in state of practice

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professi! onal Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verif! ied prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Basic computer skills

1 year of previous licensed RN experience

Physical Requirements

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Medical Oncology experience strongly preferred

New RN graduates or RN's with less than 1 year of licensed RN work experience are not eligible for this position as the RN Residency requires a new RN graduate or RN with less than 1 year of work experience to be working (budgeted for) a minimum of 24 hours a week.
