Description: Intermountain Home Care is looking of Pediatric Tech, Operating Room - Primary Children's Medical Center right now, this vacancy will be placed in Utah. More complete informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. A dynamic and proactive Pediatric Technician (Ped. Tech) is a trained caregiver that assists under the dir! ection of a Registered Nurse (R.N.). Ped Tech's are given the opportunity to apply their clinical skills to patients by surveying medical equipment, monitors and sensors, by interacting with the pediatric patients while transporting them to their medical destination, and tending to their healthcare needs and overall healing process.

A resourceful Ped Tech is a valued contributor to the medical staff when keeping thorough charts, preparing medical rooms and assisting with procedures. Able to communicate effectively in a crisis or disaster situation and maintain competent work levels.

Entry Rate: $10.08, determined based on experience
Benefits Eligible: No
Shift Details: PRN team mem! ber. This position will not have set hours but will be schedul! ed to cover sick calls and vacations. Shifts are weekdays (Monday through Friday), morning and evening shifts. Most shifts are weekday mornings, starting at 6:00 a.m. May also be scheduled to work Saturdays and Sundays as well as taking rotating call on Saturday nights (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.).

Minimum Requirements

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Physical Requirements

Hearing / Listening, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Sitting, Speaking, Squatting / Kneeling.

Pulling/Pushing; Must be able to pull and push patient beds

Lifting; Must be able ! to lift 50 pounds or greater multiple times during a shift

Standing, Walking; Must be able to stand for long period of time and walk for long distances

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification or completion of first semester of clinicals from of an accredited nursing program

Hospital surgical services tech work experience

Pediatric patient care experience
