Looking for a new opportunity? We seek a Masters educated RN with three (3) years teaching experience in an accredited nursing program for the role of Nursing Associate Program Director. In this role you will be responsible for teaching assigned courses, as it relates to the Nursing program, and planning learning activities to meet education outcomes based on the standard set by policies, regulatory requirements and acceptable practices. You will assist the Nursing Program Administrator in providing leadership for the nursing faculty in planning, developing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating curricula and programs in nurse education. You will work with the Nursin! g Program Director to ensure program compliance with State reg! ulations and national accrediting bodies' standards. You will be responsible for providing education, academic, and career advisement of students and supporting faculty with mentoring and development.

Candidates must have a Masters degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Utah (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Preference given to candidates with a Ph.D. Must have three (3) years of full-time teaching in an accredited nursing program at Associates degree level or higher. Must have a command of educational theory and current nursing practice knowledge. Must have experience with budgeting, hiring/firing/discipline/remediation/mentoring of nurses and/or nursing faculty. Experience developing and mentoring nursing faculty, especially those new to teaching. Experience with accreditation process (NLNAC preferred).
