Clinical Lab Assistant:
Obtains blood via venipuncture, and other specimens for laboratory testing from outpatients and inpatients of all ages according to physician orders and established policies and procedures. Delivers reports to physician and nursing stations. Labels specimens and transports to the lab for analysis. Also reponsible for cleaning, disinfecting and sterlizing various equipment and work areas in Lab. Maintains Lab inventory. Performs plating of specimends a staining under supervision.
Shift will be Monday - Friday 12:30-21:00

Requirements:
High school Diploma or equivalent
Previous phlebotomy experience, or successful completion of a phlebotomy training program is required.
One year related exper! ience.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
